On this Full Moon in healing, imaginative, compassionate, whole-picture-seeing Pisces (exact at 6:35pm PDT on 8/30/23), may we integrate our ideals into our tangible, earthy lived experience, into our concrete choices and actions (Virgo).

Coming into greater Pisces/Virgo congruence may involve letting go or releasing something so there is space/time/opportunity to engage in a different, more Piscean experience.

The Sun entered into the earth sign of Virgo at 2:01am PDT on August 23, kicking off VIRGO SEASON through September 22!

Several years into our relationship (2015), my partner, Dan, and I were invited to experience a past life regression together. We eagerly accepted this invitation, as it was a trusted elder who would be guiding us. We showed up at his home in Minneapolis on a late summer afternoon. In preparation for our session, he had written to us:

You'll lay side by side and I'll simultaneously guide both of you to important karmic events. It should be quite an adventure!

Once we were situated, he began to drum and gently guide us to travel into our "past" together.

The sound of 81-year old Minnijean's voice alone is unforgettable, not to mention her vibrant storytelling of her life experiences and her wisdom for living. As I was listening to a recent conversation on the Emergent Strategy Podcast between adrienne maree brown and her guest, Briana Herman-Brand, I couldn't help but think in astrological terms about what AMB was sharing regarding the examination and release of what has had a toxic hold on her (South Node Scorpio): 

"I'm trying to be in a really deep internal conversation with myself around my addiction to things that inflame my body and my life. So, it's really been like, 'what does it look like to put myself in a non-inflamed state and protect that non-inflamed state?' I love how adrienne maree brown is engaging the high potential, penetrating, truth-seeking energy of Scorpio by entering into deep, honest conversation with herself to clarify what has its hold on her that is not good for her. High ground Scorpio is the will to SEE CLEARLY and RECKON with what is toxic in the service of utter, death/rebirth transformation.

We are now in CANCER SEASON (June 21-July 22, 2022), with the SUN moving through the sign of Cancer, one degree per day, and tonight MERCURY also enters this deeply sensitive, primal, feeling, water sign. Mercury represents the Mind (thinking) and Cancer is ruled by the Moon, which represents the Heart (feeling), in Evolutionary Astrology.

From May 28–June 22, 2022, VENUS, the planet of relationship, attraction, creativity and values will be moving through the primal earth sign of TAURUS.

Taurus is symbolized by the bull…very rarely the charging bull (unless pushed way past its limits), much more so a contented cow in the meadow, peacefully grazing while basking in the pleasurable coolness of a shade tree.

When it comes to values, Taurus is all about naturalness, simplicity, stability, continuity, ease and peace.
