4444 Planetary Guidance

Dear Cosmic Friends,

We are in the midst of a rare planetary alignment where all three of the outermost, slowest-moving planets have arrived at the same degree (July 7-31):

♅ URANUS at 4 degrees Gemini
 NEPTUNE at 4 degrees Aries
 PLUTO at 4 degrees Aquarius

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are associated with transpersonal energy (big, collective, soul) and with being catalysts for deep and sweeping change.

"There is a power above your subjective will, whether you wish to accept it or not."
–Carl Jung

AND...

"We are always co-creating."
–Astrologer, Lynn Bell

The relationship the transpersonal planets are in with each other right now is a new experience in our lifetimes.

"The outer planets represent our soul's agenda."
–Astrologer, Stephen Arroyo

Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are all in supportive, synergistic, creatively stimulating alignments (aka: sextile and trine aspects).🦋⃤♡⃤🌈⃤

♃ JUPITER entered the fire sign of Leo at the end of June and joined up with the 4-degree outer planetary alignment on July 18 and remains at 4 degrees until July 23.

Jupiter amplifies whatever it touches. It is forming an opposition to Pluto, a sextile to Uranus and a trine to Neptune.

The opposition between Jupiter and Pluto definitely adds an intensity to this configuration and emphasizes Pluto's energy.

“PLUTO represents a commitment to act upon our needs for transformation, to incorporate the higher levels of consciousness into our very being, knowing that all desires and attachments will have to be brought to the surface and purged and that all our true motives will have to be faced. At this level of consciousness, one is no longer satisfied with mere knowledge or infatuation; one wants to bring all one’s mental and emotional resources to bear in the transformational process.” –Astrologer, Stephen Arroyo, from Astrology, Karma and Transformation

This confluence of Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto coming into exact alignment is being referred to as Barbault's Basket, named after the French astrologer, Andre Barbault (1921-2019).

Barbault devoted his life to studying outer planetary cycles. He predicted the 2020 pandemic and looked at the period of 2025-2030 as a most hopeful, splendid time of potential for societal reorganization.

It's important to remember that the planetary alignments that make up Barbault's Basket are part of larger, longer planetary cycles, most of which are in their waxing phases (beginnings, laying new foundations, building toward).

If you are interested in learning more about these larger cycles and tuning into a rich conversation about Barbault's Basket, I recommend listening to the interview with astrologer Lynn Bell who knew Andre Barbault personally. You'll find the video of the interview at the end of this letter.

We could think of Barbault's Basket as a flashing neon sign in the sky singing:

Hang in there! Please practice hope every single day. Engage your consciousness that it may expand and open to recognize the abundance of opportunities for positive change at the deepest level of your being and within humanity.

The 4 planets at 4 degrees are here to remind us that these times we are living in hold enormous creative/creation potential. All the sextiles and trines are excitedly sparking and harmoniously flowing with possibility!

May we consciously connect with this astrology and listen for its guidance. May we co-conspire with this powerful alignment for the highest good of all beings.

GUIDANCE FROM URANUS IN GEMINI:

"Chaos is an essential process that we need to engage."
Margaret Wheatley

JUPITER IN LEO:

"Rather than narrowing into one path forward, *Octavia's leaders were creating more and more possibilities. Not one perfect path forward, but an abundance of futures, of ways to manage resources together, to be brilliant together."

–adrienne maree brown, Emergent Strategy

(*Octavia refers to Octavia Butler, sci-fi writer and author of Parable of the Sower)

NEPTUNE IN ARIES:

"In life we have a choice of either living in our usual unaware way - lost in our thoughts, run around by our emotions - or waking up and experiencing everything freshly, as if for the first time. We also have the choice of relating bravely to the underlying groundlessness of our situation rather than trying to avoid it. It is said that this all-pervasive groundlessness has three aspects: uncertainty, vulnerability and insecurity. How we relate to these feelings now will be how we relate to them in death.

When we are dying, uncertainty, vulnerability and insecurity can intensify, and we have the choice to desperately hold on or to let go into the freshness that comes with dissolution. A completely open space becomes available to us if we don’t panic but let go - or if we panic, relax with that. This can be a time of full awakening, and it mainly depends on our ease or unease with boundlessness. Even just a moment of relaxation, as we die, will serve us well."

–Pema Chodron, How We Live is How We Die

PLUTO IN AQUARIUS:‍ ‍

“All that you touch
You Change.

All that you Change
Changes you.

The only lasting truth
is Change.

God
is Change.”
